There are vast canine breeds that have been created after quite a change over time. You probably can’t find any similarities between the breed and its species anymore. The number of dogs seems like wolves, bears, foxes, and even movielike creatures; Chewbacca or Sasquatch. They have different hairstyles such as short, medium, long, and even without any hair. What is known about Newfoundland dogs is that they are friendly and sweetheart. Their height is 66-71 cm, and their weight is 45.5-68 Kg, which makes them a big competitor to be the biggest dog breed. However, being so big and looking like lions do not let these dogs away from being one of the sweetest dogs ever.

 

 

The dogs of this breed will often greet strange people and other dogs with sweet, friendly nuzzle and licks as they are known to be friendly and affectionate to people. They are also easy to train and so intelligent. Despite being somehow upset about living in small apartments, the Newfoundlands are well adaptable to the environment and routine. Furthermore, the Newfoundland dogs, which are so good at swimming, are great companions.

These dogs, who are among the rarest dog breeds in the world, should be more common as they are affectionate and outgoing. It is believed that their original habitat was in Europe, but their history is not completely known. However, these dogs need trims and brushing for maintenance, but their hair coat sheds so little as it constantly grows. What also makes these dogs rare is that they look like lions.
