Children Asked To Bring ‘Sad Dogs’, They Were Able To Lead Him Over On A Handbag Strap

Sadly, there are many stray dogs on the streets who know nothing about how they continue their life as they are forced to fend for themselves all the time. So, Sidewalk Specials decided to help them.

After setting up Outreach in De Doorns, they decided to help the sad dogs by requesting the local children to bring them in. The kids accepted the request and brought some dogs, one of them called Gigi. The dog, who was not wanted by his owners anymore, had tick bite fever, mange, and a fractured pelvis.

So, Sidewalk Specials took Gigi to Cape Town to be cared for and medicated at a veterinary clinic. Thankfully, his medical bills were all covered by donations. His luck continued to be great as a kind family decided to adopt him. We are so happy to see him happy again. Check the clip below to get more information.
